Loses it's effectives over time although I think you got no worries .

Effectiveness is what I meant to say . If it still turns water a yellowish color and dissolves then it's good.

It probably becomes something else. If not something directly dangerous, perhaps it becomes less effective.

It'd help if it hasn't been opened and has been stored in a cool place.

[NOT an expert here!]

If it's in liquid form, I would discard and replace.

If it's in tablet form, I would keep it until use - even years down the trail. :)

chlorine dioxide is very recognizable when its generated. If it still turns green and gives off a chlorine odor it will still work. The manufacturer doesnt know how t used or stored so they have to use a conservative end date.If you are worried increase the dose by 50% . Its not bad for you, it just costs more per dose and make the bottle run out quicker.

Do note most tablets have very specific instruction that once the bottle is opened, they lose ther effeciveness in 30 ro 60 days.
