Heading to Damascus tomorrow with my 13 year old son for a couple weeks on the AT heading south. Should be a lot of fun and we are both looking forward to it. Thanks for all the informative posts on WB. I always enjoy reading the site and gathering lots of little nuggets of information. I think it has made me a much better prepared hiker.
