Im from Pennsylvannia and need a thru hiking partner, i am a college student and wish to take the trip rather seriously. I would like to start early march hiking north
If you're SOBO heading north, you might not get very far. :)

at the time im debating the trip, ive been having trouble with a bad ankle and dont know if i could physicaly accomplish the hike
Starting SOBO in March is way too early unless you flip flop and starting Sobo in Springer will only work for about 7 miles :eek: - - you cats need to both do a lot more research - - just so you know, unless you are attempting some rare feat:
SOBOS start in Maine between May 15 and August 1
NOBOS start in GA between February 15 and May 1
