This recipe is from an entry in the register at Rock Spring Hut in SNP, the entry was from Heminway MEGA '04 and the recipe is attributed to Sweet Leaf (SP?), a thru but year not mentioned. Anyways take the block of ramen, wet it down good, slice some cheese on top of the block, and fry it over a campfire in some oil. Ends up crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and the oil and cheese give it a good flavor.

I am going to try that. I bet it would be even better with a few ramps thrown in and maybe a touch of oregano.

Mmmmmm. If you can't get some ramps, you could carry a few spring onions out of town to fry on it.

Many places in PA (and other states I would assume) you should be able to find some garlic mustard to add to it. Never tried, but I hear its pretty good.
