Amount of fuel?

How much is enough for one man...about seven days...cooking once a day with a small Trangia?

I average just under 1 ounce for dinners and even less to boil water for breakfast. I carry a 35mm plastic film canister which holds exactly 1 oz. as a measuring cup.

So, I'd carry 8-10 oz. just to be on the safe side.

I used 15oz for 5 -6 days using the Mini Trangia to boil water three times a day. Once for my oatmeal in the morning, again for my Mt House or Pasta supper and the finally for my hot choco before turning in.

test your stove yourself (outside not inside). the type of wind screen will make a difference and so will the weather.
