was told yesterday by hikers that all shelters had water as far north as Blue Mtn, although some flows were reduced.

Razor, I am sitting here laughing because that is exactly what I was thinking. It never hurts though to say it once more though because to venture out between them, especially on a hot day, is bad stuff. Anyone who truly wants to wear the wings of angels can win many kudos from such hikers by providing water, boundless water, at the base of Justus Mountain. I do recall a handwritten sign pointing off trail that said WATER! I wasn't out yet and had no clue how thirsty I was about to get, or I would have gone where the arrow pointed.

Survivor Dave was kind enough to leave a couple jugs of water in that section. I didn't leave with enough water from Hawk and was very appreciative that he did so.

Ever feel stupid? I guess I mentioned that because it seemed every person we met on the trail mentioned no water between hawk and justis. My bad!

I must have been looking at the wrong spot at Springer. I saw what could have been a spring but it was all but empty and no movement. Is it above or below the point just below the shelter?
