in the never ending goal of shaving a few more ounces, I've been researching alternatives to conventional rain pants.
anyone had any experience with the Montbell Dynamo Wind pants? I believe they also sold an earlier version called Montbell UL wind pants

weight is only 2.6 oz, with Polkatex DWR treatment, they look like a good idea to save some weight over heavier rain pants.. I'm wondering how durable they are for long hikes, and also how water resistant they are.
