Two Feet and a Heartbeat have a great series from last year--they've posted videos up til Washington so far. Check out their channel, plus their Vimeo links if the YouTube videos don't work for you. http://www.youtube.com/user/trailanderrorhiking?feature=g-all-u

Walking the West is the single best one I've seen, though. Set aside an hour if you want to watch both parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AXhlHoNxo8

Search for "six million steps", its a good docu. But I dont know if it is available online.

Coming up hopefully in some month: "tell it on the mountain" http://www.tellitonthemountain.com/media.html
But beware: this movie isnt sold yet, allthough the website says something different. The guy works on this for years but couldnt really finish. So dont buy it. I waited month till I got my money back with help from paypal. But the trailers are good.

For most of the past decade, there has been a dvd produced for each PCT 'class' which includes photos of the trail and of as many of that year's hikers (both thru and section) as could be found. Since each year is produced by a different hiker (volunteers) they are somewhat different in focus and effect. The dvds are free and can be downloaded at http://www.planyourhike.com/media/pctdvd.php

The "Walk" series by Scott Herriott is pretty good if your looking for a fix. I think there are 5 total, and while they aren't free they're only 1.99 to rent on Amazon.com. I think each one is like 90 minutes long or something. I've seen all of them. They mostly focus on the places and personalities of the trail. It's pretty cool.
