Found about 5 feet off trail at about PCT mile 810.5 (southbound after Kings Fork crossing and about one-half mile before Taboose Pass trailhead) on July 15. I encountered no one who lost them, so I left them in the hiker box at the Courthouse motel in Independence on July 17. Contact the very hiker-friendly owner of the motel at 760 878 2732 to get them back. They were left wrapped in a large ziplock bag with a note describing where they were found.
