How much food are you carying at a time? How often do you get to resupply; and how much food do you get(lbs.) at your resupply points/mail drops in Maine?
If so, my husband had special concerns about the wilderness area he went thru and the amount of food he needed. I remember that some of the mail drops or resupply places where kinda awkward or just not at all in Maine. I can only recommend to you checking some trail journals of others. hikerwife
