are springs still running, is everything dry>?
Whats the scoop? Thinking about a two weeker in a few weeks as a bit of exercise and need to know

We've had some rain in North Georgia and forecast has more this week. Springs should be good here.
I can only speak for Springer to Woody Gap. All is well. Many of the seasonal seeps that are typically dry in August are still running.

Thanks guys, how about bugs and temps right now?
I know its been a hot one, but I figger this time of year maybe its starting to cool down up high?
Bugs...I really hate skeeters.....are they dead yet? :D

We really don't have many skeeters on the trail in GA. Plenty of gnats though.
Just finished Davenport Gap to Hot Springs, and water was no problem. Unfortunately it rained hard for 3 hours while I was hiking one day (and several hours after in the shelter), but the plus side is that helped the water sources.
