Just did the 10 mile round trip trail to the nearly redone Fire tower yesterday. I am pleased to say that it is a very nice trail that has been carved all around the mountain to the grade of 7%-10% the first 4.8 miles in. Very little litter and very well kept as far as down trees cleared and brush removed. Made the trip up in 1hr45 min very much worth it for the awesome views. Great place to stretch it out after a long dry spell.. Great for visitors as well as the locals...
