While not on the east coast, so maybe of less interest on this site (?), note that Aldha-West is having their gathering in Oregon at the end of September. I've never been and am looking forward to meeting folks at this one.

Aldha-West was a hoot, and a great place to meet folks I had already met as well as "old friends that I met for the first time". It's just nice to sort of hang out with members of your own 'tribe'.

Excellent weekend! Thanks Dicentra and the other organizers and speakers. Very good presentations on hiking with dogs, photography, and journaling.
