What is the water situation at Marble spring? And where is the spring from the trail?

I wish I knew the answer. I know my daughter tented there when she was hiking a few years ago. I could ask her about the spring location and get back with you. That area is so nice!!

I'm assuming that you're referring to the campsite just north of Petites Gap,off the Blue Ridge Pkwy. I camped there several years ago and the water source was down the hill and there was a marker at the campsite indicating where it was. I walked down the hill a short distance but didn't see any spring and came away empty. I believe the spring was further downhill and may be spotty during the summer, which it was July at that time.
I'd camel up at either Thunder Hill going nobo or at Matts Creek if heading sobo.
