Helping to plan a hike N to S in about a month. Anybody have any recent water intel? Thanks
The water in that area is great every shelter should have water, Whats this a weekend hike ? that little section shouldn't take but two days. RED-DOG ( Flip-Flop 96 & GA-ME 06 & GA-ME 2012 )

Thanks for the intel red dog. While 50 miles in 2 days would be physically doable I'm not sure the bourbon and cigar afterafter the hike would be so enjoyable ;-).
You should have a great time, the views from roan MT are awsome and the trail is 90% down hill from the top of Roan to Erwin.
