It seems I just his 1000 posts and am now on my way to 2000.
Do I get a patch for that? Having a great time and learning a lot.

No, so sorry. Deadline for the patch was 2115 and you missed it by 2 minutes. Please read the WB rules for your 2000 post milestone and submit the paperwork in 30 days for final disapproval.

I never did sign up for one of the HYOH bumper stickers. I guess that can be post 1003.
And I see that WOO is pushing 10,000 posts. When he gets there maybe we should give him some non-perishable cheese and waterproof matches!

Time's up - The answer is the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on I-95 / I-495 (capital beltway) over the Potomac River south of Washington DC.
The east end of the bridge is in MD. The west end of the bridge is in VA. But a few hundred feet in the middle of the river are in Washington DC.
