British hiker "Fozzie" just finished a thruhike of the A.T. and has been nominated for awards by the UK's major outdoors magazine. Fozzie's PCT thruhike book "The Last Englishman" is nominated in Category 7: Outdoor book of the year and
you can vote for Fozzie himself in Category 8: Outdoor Personality of the year, Keith Foskett, long-distance walker.
On Fozzie's website you can click on AT Blog and AT Videos in the drop-down when you mouse-over Appalachian Trail, if you want to learn about his AT thruhike.
IMHO, he's a nice guy and deserves our votes. I can't wait to read his AT book which will probably be out sometime next year.
