I recently bought an Oil Camp XTS pot to try and save fuel. My quick test included using a Soto OD1R Stove with the windscreen, Jetboil Fuel, a Snow Peak Titanium 700 ml pot and the Oil Camp.

The boil tome for .5 liter (1/2 quart) for the Snow Peak was 3:40. The boil time for the Oil Camp was 2:00 & 2:08 in two tests. AMAZING. The Oil Camp almost doubled my fuel efficiency. For $25 bucks, very worth it.

In terms of weight-my Snow Peak with Pot Cozy is 6.7 oz. The Oil Camp is 7.9 0z. So I am gaining 1.2 oz. in cook pot weight, but doubling my fuel capacity, so no need to carry a large fuel canister saving approximately 3.5 oz.

Not Bad.....

At BPL someone found it difficult to remove the lid of that pot when the water was boiling.
is it hard ?

I have one of these pots as well, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. You do mean Oli Camp, though, right?

Before even using it I've noticed the top might be an issue. I'd like to know what others think as well.

I just laid the top on the pot loosely, it did not affect the boil time...actually pretty easy....

Thank you, I thought so..
looks to me very similar to the one on the original Jet Boil. From memory some had problems with that too ...
