Anyone had any good or bad experience using the North Face Terra 65 pack? I'm thinking about getting one.

Also.. anyone ever use the Sawyer Squeeze filtration system? All it's cracked up to be?

I looked at the NF Terra 65, but went for the Kelty Coyote instead. I know that isn't real helpful, though.

No experience with this particular pack, but just a question...

Is there a reason you need such a big pack? Checked the specs, pretty heavy at 5 lbs for the Large.

From my experience, and your-mileage-may-vary, everything you need can fit into a 50L pack or smaller. Unless you're packing for someone else, (kids, GF, ect) I'd think about something smaller.

I'm having a tough time finding a 50 or 55 for less than 200 dollars

Look, if you can't search the internet at age 26 then there's nothing I can do for you. But, on a quick google search I just found a bunch of results under 200 and not weighing 5 freakin lbs, LOOK HARDER.

Who said I was searching the internet? I want something I can try on and make sure it fits right first.. And I don't want a **** pack. Obviously I can find a 55 liter at walmart for less than one hundred but I want quality and a brand I trust.

Just figured you were, that's where the deals are. Didn't you start a thread about backcountry.com's sale, state in the thread you were looking for a pack, North Face "HeavyAsABrick" 65 was on sale at said website site, 2+2+2=6.

Look at Osprey and Gregory, two brands with great lifetime-no question warranty's and make good packs I've had luck with. Good luck to you.

I'm thinking about a Gregory z55 I believe it's called.

Love my Z55.
Yes, I wish it was a little lighter but it's very comfortable, easy to deal/locate with retailers that carry it and likewise, with Gregory should the need arise.

I keep meaning to mod the side pockets for a bit more volume but haven't gotten to it.
