Nasty Smell in Sawyer 2L Gravity Filter

I didnt properly dry it or something but inside teh clean and dirty bags of the grav filter is a moldy musty smell. what can i use to clean them out?

I would try a hot soak in Oxiclean Free overnight. Be sure to get the solution into any tubing. Then rinse with cold water three times. They should be clean at that point.

If that doesn't work, you can try again with a vinegar solution. A bleach solution would be the last course of action.

There are scrub brushes you can get to clean water bladders and Sawyer recommends a bleach solution (I forget the concentration).

I have hat good luck with baking soda
