Hiking winding stair to deep gap then up to car at standing indian campground. Any suggestions on campsites and water reports?

Plenty of water by (and on...) Kimsey Creek trail on way up to Deep Gap from Standing Indian Campground. I was there Saturday night. Deep Gap looked like it had decent campsites. I heard that Standing Indian (the mountain) has some great ones, but can get quite busy. NC was noticably wetter than GA (where I finished on Sunday).
You can tent on top of Albert Mountain. There is a fire tower and great views. There is no water on top so be sure to carry some up.
