Well this is in the food forum - and there isnt a water forum

Trying this product and well we are off to a good start... its concentrated flavor (0ils) without calories for Soda Stream ..just a few drops in your bladder might hide a few bad tastes!

It is a glass bottle, but small enough. $9.99 and can make 100's of gallons.

Cool idea......! I have always liked using Crystal Light to give my water a bit of flavour...I wonder if I can get this stuff down here in Australia......

Does it have any sugar in it ? I have learnt the hard (and mouldy) way not to put any sweetend drinks in my Platypus...

I tried those flavored fizzy energy tabs. Not bad, but definitely more expensive. This is a cool idea, but I'd want some vitamins with the flavor.

They would be nice for a change but I wouldn't carry a glass bottle (except champagne up to Katahdin).
Plastic bottles of cordial concentrate have been in my pack occasionally.

I discovered this stuff in a grocery store on my hike last year and I always carry it now:

This is strong as Mio - but Natural Flavor no sugars. Mio is great just different.

Oz - if you took a champagne bottle up to Kata-din and opened it - it would come out like a rocket, there would be a third left. I opened a selzer bottle once from Philadelphia up in the Poconos and wore most of it. I felt like a wet dumbass. "altitude"

Another item to look at is Fizzies. Which are flavored tablets that releases carbonated fizz (like Alka seltzers) with no sugar and taste good. www.fizzies.com The manufacture of them comes from the same plant that makes NUUN electrolyte replacement drink tablets in Minnesota.

I use these with the soda stream system and despite the hype, you need more than 'a few drops' to actually detect any flavor. They're not a bad deal, just don't believe that you're going to get 100's of gallons of flavored water out of three bottles.

I agree - but so far so good.... I will look into larger bottles.
