I use my small 10cm Imusa for situations like these. I think its under 3oz and will boil 2 cups. Removing the handles will make it bit lighter.

Batch Stovez has a new hand spun pot that may be worth looking into. It fits together well with their kit.

I find the FireLite 550 SUL Titanium Cookpot (http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/firelite_550_sul_titanium_cookpot.html) to be just right for a solo hiker boiling water. Weighs in at 2.82 ounces with the lid. There are larger FireLites (900 & 1100), plus a 475ml mug that I use for drinking (along with a collapsible measuring cup, although I could probably drop one or the other): See here (http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/search.html?q=firelite&x=0&y=0) for a list of these products available through BackpackingLight.com, although most are out-of-stock and I would contact them to determine their source.

Snowpeak mini titanium solo set. 28oz pot and 10oz cup.

I was in an REI store a couple of hours ago and looked at these, nice but pricy at $59.95. I was considering one as a replacement for my Foster beer can pot on the next trip. Stopped by the liquor store next door and bought a couple of 24 oz Fosters just in case I wanted to build another pot, always nice to have an extra, the beers not bad either.

I've been looking to see if I can upgrade the Walmart grease pot I use. The grease pot is about 7 ounces, with lid. A large fuel canister and pocket rocket fit inside. It is tough. Though I don't mind spending the money for a nice pot, the old grease pot seems the right combination of value and weight for me. Around $7.00 and 7 ounces seems about as good as it gets for me.

Snow Peak 600 pot/mug. Made of titanium and somewhat pricey but all the cool kids have one. :)

I like my MSR .85 liter titanium pot with lid. I made a cozy for it with a cut up Thermarest ridgerest.

Another good option for a couple people is this MSR titanium 2 liter pot---ya don't even need a pot holder since the side never gets that hot.

The grease pot is about 7 ounces, with lid.

Whoa, 7 ounces? Maybe I have a newer 'cheaper' one (got mine at KMart), but mine with lid, wire bale, bottom reflector and wind screen comes out at 4.9 ounces. My kettle only weighs 6 ounces, if you only boil water.

Plus one on this one. Only downside is no volume marks. Still like it though. Bought mine during a half off sale.

make the volume marks yourself by using a punch or engraver. i found this to be quite handy with my gear. and if you use the engraver you can even mark on plastics. you can pick them up for as little as $10. personalize that spoon, spork, multitool, or anything for the hiker in your life.

I found this to be great---.5 liter 2:00 min boil time--added a little weight but carry half the fuel. ONly $25 bucks---
