Most thrus don't carry the Guidebooks (I did but I'm in the minority) if you need to buy (and can't find a deal here or on ebay) you can buy them new from the ATC along with the maps on sale usually from the Thanksgiving to Christmas period. You get all the books, all the maps, and the data book for just a few dollars more than the cost of the maps alone.
