For those of you who care, the Integral Designs eVENT jacket is on sale at www.backcountrygear.com for $187. Normal price is $220. No, I do not work for them. This is way more than is needed on a normal AT hike, but if you are planning other things it might be right for you. I'll post a review when I get back from the summer.
