Any thru hikers/ section hikers in need of a place to get out of the storm? (Sandy) Feel free to give me a holler. Text or call for a free place to stay & pick up. 540-815-1289... Karen. I live 5 miles from where the trail crosses the road in Daleville, VA.

Yup...we aren't going to get hit directly at all. The storms eye will be about 200 miles east of Norfolk VA, as it heads north. Expecting a lot downed trees and possible power outages in Roanoke. My friend in Damascus is sayin y'all are getting rain right now, going sideways & 46 degrees. I wonder if y'all will see white stuff later on.

OK... David Lone Wolf- I can't remember ur last name- I knew you must know Eric. :D He's a cool dude, though I've never met him in person. I think it's snowing in Pearisburg now... It is sooo cold here. :(

Thx 4 looking out for us. I'm hotelling it up in Rutland vt with increasing winds right now. Pretty sure the snow that far south is unexpected by most sobos and flippers. Just ignore the trolls giving you grief.
