Does anyone know of trail conditions from Pearisburg VA going north 20 Miles

They are really bad. Just came from the captains place and it took 2 days. Really a hard miserable hike.

Anyone know what the conditions are like south of pearisburg. Getting stir crazy sitting in the hotel.

Any additional info would be appreciated as I'm planning to hike this section in March and don't want to assume that the trail will be repaired by then if there are blowdowns, etc.
