Last Sunday I attended a dedication ceremony at Amicalola Fallls SP. Gene Espy who thru-hiked in '51 donated much of his gear for the display. After the ceremony the photographer/reporter for the Dahlonega Nugget asked those in attendance who had hiked the trail to pose for a photo. Actually, I was in the room with the cake :D and they came and fetched me, cause some folks in attendance knew I was a 2000-miler.
