The child is about 4 feet tall. He is a boy. It would be nice if he could use it for more than a year or two. he is the oldest of 3 but the younger 2 are girls, it would be nice to pass it down. I was thinking about 20 degrees. budget from 70 to 90 bucks.

idea?

Maybe this: http://www.rei.com/product/809427/kelty-cosmic-down-20-sleeping-bag

Most short bags are "women's" models, giving more choices. If they are not pink, he won't know.

And remember, they do grow. Don't go too small.

Lafuma makes great bags for kids in that price range. Used them for years with my kids and now my grand kids. Lightweight solid bags.
