i propose an international PCT trail, it should circle the entire ocean, then cross china and the middle east, it can join the new extended CDT trail in the Alps, and cross Africa on the Long Trail, and somehow reach the Muir Trail in Florida

kudos for the amazing ability to find anything written literally anywhere about the (i)AT. i think i just might have missed this article if you hadn't brought our attention to it.... actually, i starting to be more curious about the IAT!

This is getting a bit ridiculous.. connecting the IAT (which runs from Maine to Quebec and newfoundland) somehow to the UK via some ocean bottom route. C'mon... if you're separated by an entire ocean.. you're on a different trail!!!!

How about extending the PCT from Barrow to Cape Horn?
