For ages 16 - Adults
Do you have what it takes, materially and mentally, to hike the entire Appalachian Trail? Westminster resident Doug Walters recently completed the 2,184.4 mile trail. He will take you along on his journey of five million steps by sharing photos of breathtaking landscapes, memorable experiences, and characters encountered along the way. Doug carried everything he needed for the five month adventure in a 22-pound pack and will be glad to discuss the pros and cons of the wide variety of gear available to today's hikers. A Celebrating America program.
