Green is what "most" hikers use. Some people need to have a break-in period; instructions should be on the website.

I thought I had normal feet until I tried green superfeet. It felt like I was standing on a log in bare feet. I use blue now and they feel fine.

I have orange ones. Have never seen the green ones in Canada

I would suggest finding a quality Outdoor store, or a good running store. They should have a good selection of insoles and the knowledge to fit them correctly.
If you have to "break them in" they do not fit. YMMV

the green ones hurt bad enough that there was no way i could put break in miles on them..the closest store that carries them is 1.5 hrs away. might just do the rei thing until i get the right ones. tried some gel ones at walmart felt like walking on jello i didn't care for them

I tried blue, green and orange. No good, pain was awful. The REI sales rep said, "Try the women's insole." Perfect!

Oranges - for boots - comfort, blues - for sturdy running shoes - additional support, greens - for soft running shoes - greater or major support. Look at running shoes where they bent. If in the middle (arch) - bad shoes. Good shoes always has bent close to the toes mimicking feet structure.

For hike without pain always it is good to combine shoes, inserts and socks together. I learn that in a hard way :). Search what is the best for you. Sincerely

I use the copper ones. That being said foot wear is so personal that no one can really recommend what will work for you without seeing your feet, your shoes and the way you walk (over or under pronate?).

Best thing I ever did was go to a store specializing in running shoes and tell them what I wanted to do. They set me up with a pair of TRs and insoles that worked great for me.

I do know that your feet need to get used to SF. If you can fold your shoe up like a wallet it's not going to be good for hiking. You need a stiff last and plenty of cushion from the insole.

I use blue in my everyday shoes and orange in my trail runners.i have very flat feet and took a week to get used to them. But I do love em

I have used the blue, green and orange, and for comfort I would go with the orange ones. While all have the same shape, the orange has more cushion and the arches are slightly less pronounced.

I use to use the black ones but have recently converted to the copper ones.
Max and garlic use the green ones.
whatnot and Josh use blue.
Arius and Northern Lights uses orange.
And some people flat out hate them!

See what I mean, everyone is different ;)
