will be arriving in damacus on the morning of may 15 at 8-9am and need a place to park a car and a shuttle 38 trail miles to wilbur dam rd. we will hike the AT back to damacus for trail days. anyone in or around damacus want to help a couple fellow white blazes out...will pay for the shuttle. thanks
Call Mount Rogers Outfitters. They're in the middle of town and offer a shuttle service with a place to leave your car.

I've used them at least five times, Mount Rogers Outfitters that is, good guys to work with. Not sure if their hostel is open year round but it's a great place to stay as well. I love that part of the country, enjoy!
I wanted to leave my car in town and shuttle out and hike back for Trail Days last year. Mt. Rogers was not doing shuttles. I had Sun Dog Outfitters give me a shuttle and they let me park my car for three days.
