I want to give a shout out to hikers, who are interested in reading about thru-hiking. I thru-hiked in 2011 and just recently finished the book, which seemed to be more difficult than the actual hike. http://www.amazon.com/Sheltered-An-Appalachian-Trail-Story/dp/0988794004

This is a long shot, but did you make an appearance in Squatch's 2011 A.T. Documentary "Flip Flop Flippin" ?

I'm about halfway through your book Amish.
Enjoying the "younger" perspective compared to most I have read.
It does seem much more fixated on relationships than the trail, but I guess that goes with the age group...:)

Loved your trail journal. After your night under the tarp in the rain and ending up on the porch I never thought you would make it to Main. Like I said love following your trip and couldn't wait for the next post after the 100 mile wilderness. Your book is my next read.
