I am a 62 year old male, retired. I have section hiked about 500 miles north of Davenport Gap in the last few years. Would like to find a partner with 2nd car to do section from Springer Mt Georgia to Davenport Gap 238 miles this spring or even sections of it this winter if weather holds. The way I like to do it is place a car 30-40 miles ahead and hike to car. Upon reaching car take zero day and resupply and do it again. I usually hike about 15 miles a day.
