This was a gift to myself for Christmas.:)

The Magic Flame wood burning stove. Fuel was vertically stacked and top lit.

What don't you like about it?

Any wood stove users out there?

Looks pretty cool, just tooooooo heavy for me.

I have in years past experimented with tin can wood stoves. I like the idea of using wood but the practicality of hiking while using a wood stove has not caught on with me. I started using a penny stove so many years ago I'm not even sure when it was, '93' I think. I like your video but that stove is heavy and expensive for what it is. If it could be made with an alloy that is lighter than stainless steel I might give one a try. It could also serve as a wind screen and stand for my trusty penny stove.

Titanium would make it lighter but 2x more expensive if not more.

I felt $67.00 which included shipping was a fair price. Hundreds if not thousands of bushbuddy stoves sold for well over $100.00

Sometime this year Hosaphone will buy a Magic Flame stove to add to his collections. Never can have too many wood and alcohol stoves:D
