Has the weather cleared in Damascus, VA yet?

I'm over in Boone, NC for a couple of days and have some company who aren't exactly "trail rated". Was thinking of driving up through Damascus to Whitetop to take in the view but didn't want to head over there until the front pushes through and clears. Forecast says clearing from north to south during the morning. Wondering if it's cleared there in Damascus yet.
