Came across a new book recently.

"Between a rock and a whiteblaze."

It seems pretty well written so far. not your avg thru hikers journal.

im about 1/4 way thru and have to say, its one of the better written at books ive read.

Now Im about 3/4 thru with this book.

Its about a thru hike done by a husband and wife team, who had already hiked the PCT
The husband had also already thru hiked the AT previously

The wife wrote it, from her point of view. It is very detailed, introspective, and exceptionally well written
Lots of focus on differences in expectations and reality between the two trails

I think it is one of the more engaging AT books Ive read . Didnt bore me thru Va like most.
