I came across this video from the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. I don't know a lot about it, but I could see its potential for hiking and protecting your electronics. I have no idea on the price or how you get your phone waterproofed, but keep your eye out as I bet this will be available soon.

Hi Michael,
We appreciate your interest in HzO. HzO’s WaterBlock is an exciting, world-class technology that changes where, and even how, electronic devices can be used.

HzO does not currently sell or apply our technology to aftermarket consumer devices. At this time, we deploy a business model directly interfacing with electronics, or electronic component, manufacturers. In the future, you will begin to see a number of devices in a variety of industries with HzO’s WaterBlock technology coming directly from the manufacturer. As a result, we do not currently offer services to coat consumer devices already in use.

HzO’s WaterBlock is not a case, cover, of rubber gasket. Like a transparent shield, HzO’s proprietary WaterBlock nanotechnology is a coating of bonded molecules that seals the internal components of electronic devices. This chemical vapor deposition process blankets vital electronic circuitry to protect even the most sensitive devices from damage by water, moisture, contaminating particles, and humidity.

Thank you for contacting us, and we will be sure to keep you informed of future developments at HzO. For the latest news and information regarding developments at HzO, please visit our website (http://www.hzoinside.com/), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/hzoinside), and Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/hzoinside) pages.

If you have additional questions please contact us. We welcome your comments!

Sincerely,
The HzO WaterBlock Team

I guess we will have to look for that technology on future products. It would have been nice if we could have sent them our phones to "treat".
