Son Driven

Been doing some cold weather hiking in MN, without issue. I made a couple of super cat stoves, and can boil 16oz of water in about 5 minutes. So if the temps get to low I will place a couple bottles of hot water into my sleeping bag. With a February start I should be able to complete the thru hike even if I end up with a few weeks of zero days due to injury. Being 6 ft.& 200 pounds I have some food storage to burn, in a way it is good to have a little fat in cold weather, a little added protection against hypothermia. By the heat of the summer I trust I will be down around 180.
