I need a field editor for the ~50 mile section from north of Shenandoah NP to Harpers Ferry. It's preferable that you be a member of ALDHA (only $10 a year, includes quarterly newsletter, annual membership directory, thru-hikers Companion in PDF).
You don't have to actually hike the section of trail as long as you contact the local trail club for any new shelters, relos etc. but it's extremely important that you verify and double check all town and hiker services along the section of trail.
Although it's ALDHA's book, the ATC handles the actual publishing end and proceeds from sales go to benefit the trail. For your effort you'll receive a soft cover Companion and of course the satisfaction of giving back to the trail.
