At the halfway point, I found a log page, apparently by Amazing Grace:

Tried contacting her by email but no reply. I was just wondering if this log was hers and how the trip came out.

A hiker by the name of amazin grace wrote a book about her jounrey, and yes, she did make it. This is probably a different AG though, because th date on the log is from 2004, the first edition of her book was published in 2001.
