I'm planning to go back on the trail in Hampton, TN and have spoken with Black Bear Resort and it looks like they can shuttle me from Tri-Cities airport but I'd like a backup in case they get too busy...anyone know another shuttle I could use if needed? I plan to leave the trail at Boiling Springs, PA or one of the other spots near Harrisburg, that will give me about 700 miles. Can anyone recommend a shuttle in that area that could take me to a motel near the airport? Thanks.

When are you planning to hike this section?... just curious.

Michael Gelinas (in the shuttle list) can help you near Boiling Springs. He helps run a B&B in Boiling springs, so that may take care of the hotel.

Other option is to take buses, or bus to taxi at US 11. There are hotels at US 11 as well. Consider making your way to BWI airport for a cheaper flight.

The flight I'm looking at arrives in Tri-Cities at 9:05 a.m. on 3/24/13. If all goes well I should be on the trail by 10:30.

If you make it to Duncannon (and the Doyle) you can catch a Capital Area Transit bus (23) in the morning from the Clark's Ferry Park and Ride just across the Susquehanna. This will bring you to Harrisburg where you can catch another bus (7) or a taxi to the airport. See http://www.cattransit.com/

You can also ride Amtrak from Harrisburg to Philadelphia which will greatly expand your flight (or train) options.
