Reason I am trying to track down some hiking companions is that in 2013 I would like to steadily visit the AT once a month with other knowledgable hikers. For 2.5 years now I have managed to drag my friends thru 995 miles of Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia sections of the AT as well as TN state parks for 1-3 night trips.
I would like to find a group of people that are independently available to hit the trail for weekend length trips and cover some ground!

Interested in completeing the GA section of AT during 2013 by completing section hikes once a month (Fri, sat, sun)
As well as finishing the JMT in Big South Fork.
TN/NC sections of AT.
I would like 4+ hikers of either sex who can show up, gear in hand and hike the trail.
