Silycon earplugs hurt my ears when I sleep on my side. I once saw sponge plugs that you roll up and put them in ears so they expand. Where can I get these, or do I just make my own?

Any grocery store I've ever been to. It's usually near the foot spray.

Hardware stores are a better bet than grocery/pharmacy, but you probably get the best value buying online: http://www.amazon.com/3M-E-A-R-Earplugs-Yellow-Neon-200-Pack/dp/B000J05EYI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_indust_1

Any hardware store should have them. I got a box of squishy orange ones at Home Depot. Maybe the ones at Lowes are blue ;)

Best Answer is a Gun Store or a Shooting Range ... the ones sold at the Trap and Skeet Range my granddaughter goes to are awesome ... they are like silicone and soft as "silly putty."

The yellow Ear brand plugs work the best for me, most home depot/lowes should have them. Its is important to put them in correctly. You need to reach over you head with one hand and pull your opposite ear up, then roll the earplug and insert it in the ear, then keep holding your ear until it expands.

There was an earplug thread recently, with a lot of great advice.
