Anyone interested in sharing the expense of a car rental from New England to somewhere near Springer Mtn?

I'm in Portland, ME and am expecting to head out in early/mid March.

I have a car rented for March 13-14th. I will have my border collie with me. I'm in Pembroke, NH. About an hour and a half from Portland, ME. I am headed to Gainesville, GA and being picked up by the Hiker Hostel. Starting my hike on March 15th.
