View Full Version : What are you planning for your springbreak or mid-March trip?

Just getting a feel for what everyone is doing for springbreak (if your still in school or teaching) or any trips that are planned for mid-march.
I will be hiking 90% of the foothills trail in South Carolina with my dog. We will be hiking east-to-west, starting Friday afternoon, March 8th and ending Wednesday morning, March 13th.

My wife works in a school. We're going to hike GA during her break. Looking forward to it.

My fiance is a teacher so my spring break (PTO) is in late March. She is a beach girl while I like the mountains. Were gonna beach spring break and then ill do a week long trip in the summer for my PTO. You gotta give a little to get a little

Spring break started today! I'm having a colonoscopy :eek:
making money to finance future hikes. Helping my wife with her vacation house cleaning business along SR30A, Rosemary Beach and Seaside, FL, spring break is crazy busy for us. My next AT section hike will be very early April after the spring break rush here. Taking the Greyhound bus to Marion, VA, getting back on the AT at Atkins, VA heading north.
Taking my college age son SOBO from Unicoi to Springer, copying Odyssa's first week...
My kids started spring break today. Headed to Colorado to ski.

Good luck with that. the worst part of mine was the prep. I was out for the procedure, so it was OK. Mine went fine. No probs - don't have to go back for 10 years or so. Hope yours is the same.
My plans for Spring Break in a week: heading north to hike and test gear.
My reality for Spring Break in a week: wife is dragging me on a cruise out of Tampa. Joy.
