I am looking at doing the 100ish miles of the SNP on the AT with my son in June. I wanted to see if there were any recomendations of shuttles from Front Royal to Waynsboro, or could one rent a car in FR and drop it off in Waynsboro? I have some friends in the Winchester area so that mway be plan B. Thanks for the help! Lance
When we hiked this section, we parked our car at the Four-H Center in Front Royal and had a shuttle take us to Waynesboro/Rockfish Gap to drop us off for our hike north. The shuttle we used isn't operating anymore, but the 4-H Center still allows the parking.
I STRONGLY suggest hiking NB with this section due to the parking and drop-off point. It was a GREAT hike!!!
