and back in 1992 when I did it the length was 2146.6 miles long, that means the trail grew by 34.4 miles over the last 20 years. Amazing!! Guess I gotta go out there I hike those miles.

Thanks! I had a feeling I was off. The miles I had were from 2012.

It was 2150-something when I did it in '98. I always just rounded up to 2200, figuring in the side trails and whatnot. Guess they should round up to 2250 now.

I'm going to have to go back to my Ed Garvey book to see how long it was in the early 70's when I started.

Thanks! I had a feeling I was off. The miles I had were from 2012.

In 2012 it was 2,184.2 :D
