I was looking to see who else may be doing a section hike in Georgia around the weekend of April 12? Hiking roughly 35 miles at ~10 miles a day.

I will be starting on Springer that Saturday. Planning on 2 weeks out.

I should have been more specific. I'm starting at Dicks Creek Gap and heading southbound to Neels Gap.
Im sectioning springer to fontana dam starting april 20th

Good luck ktnorb. You will have a lot of fun. Don't burn yourself out too quickly on your section hike, I almost did that last year.
